Om Illustrated Classic The Invisible Man
by H.G. Wells
A mysterious man arrives at a local inn in the English village of lping, West Sussex, during a snowstorm. The villagers do not know what to make of the reclusive stranger because he is completely covered from head to toe and spends most of his time in his room his crimes are witnessed even though he cannot be seen. Finally his isolation as a true invisible Man takes a mental toll on him. He could not foresee that his invisiblity could still make him vulnerable, and this lack of foresight uitimately seals his fate, if there is a lesson to be learned from this, it is to be careful about what one wishes for. What if what one considers a blessing is also a curse? This masterpiece of science fiction touches on this very same question.
